Welcome to Fall Semester! Flexible Learning Options Still Available
Aug 25, 2025

WNC's 2025 Fall Semester began on Aug. 25, but there are many opportunities to become part of the semester after this date.
Western Nevada College’s Fall 2025 semester arrived with the advent of classes on Monday, Aug. 25. But that doesn’t mean unenrolled students will have to wait until next semester to take classes.
For students who still intend to enroll in classes this fall, Student Services is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily to assist with late registration, which ends on Aug. 29. After this date, students still have the opportunity to register for full-term classes by completing a late registration form with instructor approval by Sept. 19.
“The start of a new semester is always an exciting time at Western Nevada College,” said WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. “WNC is more vibrant than ever, with steady enrollment increases over the past two years and major renovations that are transforming the student experience. Whether students are beginning their educational journey or continuing toward their goals, WNC is here to support them with flexible options that fit their lives. It’s never too late to take that next step in higher education, and we’re ready to help students succeed this fall.”
WNC’s flexible learning courses also enable individuals to design their learning schedule around employment, family and personal commitments. Flexible learning alternatives provide students with self-paced, instructor-guided, guided self-paced courses, ranging from 16 weeks to eight weeks or less. Late-start and short-term courses are also available. Refer to a list of classes at to begin planning for your future.
