Briggs Electric Powers Up Education at WNC Gala
In a powerful show of support for education and workforce development, Briggs Electric
is once again stepping up as a driving force behind Western Nevada Collegeâs mission
to empower students. The company will serve as the Live Auction sponsor of WNC Foundationâs
signature fundraising event â Reach for the Stars Gala â set for Saturday, Aug. 2.
A recognized leader in electrical contracting, Briggs Electric is more than a business
success story â itâs a community partner committed to shaping the future.
âWestern Nevada College is critical to developing the talent that will power our regionâs
future,â said Greg Dye, General Manager of Briggsâ Nevada and Northern California
operations. âBacking WNC isnât just philanthropy â itâs an investment in the people
who will innovate, build and lead.â
Briggsâ partnership with WNC runs deep. The company plays a key role in multiple fundraising
initiatives, including the Golf for Education Tournament, ensuring that more students
can access scholarships and pursue their educational goals â regardless of financial
barriers.
âBriggs Electric continues to lead by example,â said Niki Gladys, Executive Director
of the WNC Foundation. âTheir commitment is about more than dollars â itâs about creating
opportunity and building a stronger Nevada.â
With a legacy dating back to 1946, Briggs Electric has become a vital player in northern
Nevadaâs growth. From powering landmark projects like the Reno Events Center and Carson
City MAC to teaming up with industry innovators like Tesla and Panasonic, Briggs is
a company that knows how to get things done â and bring others along for the ride.
Now, theyâre inviting the community to join the celebration. This yearâs âFire and
Iceâ themed gala promises an unforgettable evening of purpose and inspiration at the
Joe Dini Library. And on Sept. 26, golfers will take the green for student success
at the annual tournament.
Spots are limited â donât miss your chance to be part of the impact. For sponsorships
