Western Nevada College’s Center for Teaching Excellence is an online hub that supports outstanding teaching! WNC does this by showcasing pedagogical best practices, fostering strong community building, and engaging instructors in a fun, collaborative environment.
Spotlight on Instruction
Producers Josh Fleming and Ryan Johnson sit down with Dr. Jennifer Verive and her daughter, Josie, for a fascinating conversation about the world of video games. Josie shares her passion for game design, while Dr. Verive brings insight into the powerful - and positive - psychological connections games can create. Our consultations are a place to discuss one’s teaching style, classroom goals, and interactions in a safe and supportive environment. Consultations are available with CTE staff members on campus or online via zoom.
